Jake Paul is expected to announce his next boxing opponent imminently – and KSI is among five potential candidates to face him.

‘The Problem Child’ last fought in August, when he defeated MMA star Nate Diaz via unanimous decision after a 10-round bout.

That came six months after his first professional boxing defeat, in his seventh match, to Tommy Fury in Saudi Arabia.

But the Diaz victory has put Paul back in the map, amid his brother Logan beating Dillon Danis via a disqualification on the Misfits Boxing Prime card last month.

Since then, Logan defeated Rey Mysterio to win the WWE United States Championship at Crown Jewel.

His brother is looking to follow that up with a statement victory of his own. And with ‘The Problem Child’ set to make a major announcement today, here are five opponents that he could take on in his next boxing match.

KSI

KSI has previously stated his willingness to face Paul in a boxing match, with the YouTuber having defeated his brother Deji at amateur level in 2018.

Both fighters have one thing in common – they have lost to Tommy Fury – and that might well be enough to organise a bout.

Tommy Fury

Speaking of Tommy Fury, a rematch between the pair may well be on the cards.

Paul’s defeat to the Love Island star was only via split decision, however – and Fury recently claimed that Paul sent him a text message which appeared to indicate he may be interested in a rematch.

Jorge Masvidal

Shortly after Paul’s win over Tyron Woodley in December 2021, he engaged in a bitter social media spat with UFC star Jorge Masvidal.

Paul, of course, has a history of taking on fighters from the MMA promotion, and the pair even squared off while surrounded by security in June.

DeShon Webster

According to reports, one potential opponent for Paul is professional boxer DeShon Webster.

The 32-year-old American has a professional boxing record of 12 wins and seven losses, but hasn’t won a fight since April 2019.

He has previously been pictured alongside Logan Paul.

Floyd Mayweather

The wildcard option, Floyd Mayweather could be tempted into an exhibition bout with ‘The Problem Child’ after fighting Logan in a non-scored exhibition bout in 2021.

Jake challenged Mayweather to a fight in March, while the pair were at an NBA game, but this may be one that gets made further down the line.
