Cristiano Ronaldo was left fuming by his son as Junior snubbed his request for a handshake during Al-Nassr’s title celebrations.

Ronaldo Jr starred for Al-Nassr Under 13s as he was on target to inspire his team-mates to the league title with three games to spare. The future stars were called up to celebrate the latest honour with their senior counterparts before the Saudi Pro League clash against Al-Fateh. The youngsters walked out of the tunnel amid loud cheers and fireworks and then lined up to shake hands with the professionals.

Before the match against Al Fateh on February 15, Ronaldo Junior and the U13 Al Nassr players were congratulated by the stars of the main squad after winning the youth championship. The eldest son of Ronaldo’s family did not follow the line but just stood outside and watched his teammates shake hands with his father and brother’s generation of players.

Immediately, Cristiano Ronaldo expressed his dissatisfaction. The Portuguese superstar turned to his son and said: “Why don’t you come shake my hand?”.

Ronaldo Jr. and U13 Al Nassr have just won the Saudi Premier League 2023/24 with impressive results. During the Al Nassr match against Al Fateh, Georgina Rodriguez was also present to congratulate her son and cheer on Cristiano Ronaldo. CR7 shined with a goal that helped the capital team win 2-1. As for Ronaldo, he scored his 32nd goal in just 33 appearances this season.
