It took Travis Kelce just seven minutes to put the Kansas City Chiefs ahead in the AFC Championship, and Taylor Swift was in shock during wild celebrations.
Once again, Swift was in attendance to watch boyfriend Kelce as the Chiefs make another push for the Super Bowl. The Chiefs were on the road facing the Baltimore Ravens, who secured the No. 1 seed in the AFC this season with Lamar Jackson on course to be crowned league MVP.
The Chiefs were underdogs heading into the game, one that started off with drama as Kelce and Patrick Mahomes started beefing with Ravens kicker Justin Tucker during the pregame warmups. But Mahomes did his talking on the field with a bullet to Kelce, and Swift was seen shouting “Oh my god” in the suite.
There has been a lot of celebrating in the suite this season for Swift, as she’s watched her boyfriend make some huge plays. But with the pressure on against the Ravens, she couldn’t believe how quickly Kelce got involved and looked in disbelief as he was in the end zone so early into the first quarter.
She celebrated wildly, visibly looking in disbelief and seemingly not knowing what to do with herself as Kelce’s incredible catch caught her off guard. She looked around at those around her trying to find someone to celebrate with after a perfect start to the AFC Championship game for the Chiefs.
However, the visitors were soon silenced as Jackson managed to avoid a brutal sack and throw a 30-yard touchdown to rookie Zay Flowers. The Chiefs are vastly experienced in the AFC Championship, and Mahomes has never failed to make the penultimate game of the NFL postseason since being drafted.
Nothing but the Super Bowl will do for the Chiefs, a team that has high expectations after winning two Championship rings in recent times. But Kelce had his whole entourage there in Baltimore for support, with brother Jason making the trip just as he did to Buffalo last week.
